the seder went just fine. Or at least, I'm told it went fine. I couldn't really be sure, to be honest, as I ended up with a splitting headache and I went to bed during dinner after having struggled through three and a half hours of ow. I'm not convinced that people actually got well-fed, as there's shocking quantities of food left over. I mean, there's always food left over, but there was significantly more than I expected. Even one-quarter of the chocolate cake, and there was only enough for one small slice per person to begin with... But anyway.

Several days of fairly boring prep. Seder prep used to be exciting, but now it's easy. And boring. And means three or four twelve-hour-days of mostly standing-up in the kitchen. And this year, all through a fog of hayfever. So, not to surprising that I ended up knocked over in pain, but damn, it would have been nice if that could have waited twelve hours so I could have enjoyed the payoff a little!

Well I can only speak for myself, but _I_ was _extremely_ well fed. The food was delicious.

Thanks again for inviting us. It was both a delightful party and an educational cultural experience for me.
