a picture is worth...
Feb. 13th, 2006 11:40 amI don't really know how I managed three-hour-long drawing classes. After awhile, my brain just gets tired of *seeing*. On the other hand, I have no idea how long I spent practicing this figure before I got tired and moved onto the watercolor I'm working on...
No WiP of the watercolor. I'm glazing -- which is why I can work on it when I feel brain-dead -- and at this stage, it looks really awful.
Awhile back, there was an LJ meme where people posted pictures of their workspaces. And I want this picture for reference, because once we turn the clocks forward, I'll be moving the bed back so it's not under the skylight anymore. And, instead of the twice-yearly move-of-the-bed that Z had originally proposed, I think we'll likely leave it there, because the area under the skylight is much colder than the area under the ceiling fan, and I'd rather have the bed *not* in the cold-part.
It'll be nice to move the workspace under the skylights. Even though the space under the skylights is a bit smaller and currently has exactly zero wallspace for hanging things up. I may have to (gasp!) eject the bookcase that's currently next to the bed. Or at least condense it down to half-wide.
love
