I'm a level 10 Disco Bandit, which makes me a Vibe Robber, and I'm remarkably close to gaining sufficient Moxie to make it to level 11.

My skills have become quite heavily-used, as I've been adventuring in the Castle in the Sky, where I periodically can't hit anything without them.  My fabulous Moxie often keeps them from hitting me -- unless it's an Alphabet Giant, which is more likely to spell my doom.

Nicolas Ravindran, the 18-pound Mosquito
Lucinda Trofflesby, the 10-pound Barrrnacle

Current quests:
The council has no current quests for me.  Following the castle map led me, circuitiously, to the Hole in the Sky, in which I can defeat nothing (yet).  So, I will continue wandering around elsewhere for awhile.   I also have a lifeless meat doll that will likely become a familiar, if I can just figure out how to wake it up...

I have lots of stuff.  I don't know, really, what to do with much of this stuff.
enormous belt buckle
fat stacks of cash
flaming crutch
heavy D (I assume I can spell something with it, like the W-A-n-G I spelled earlier.   Though I don't really recall where I found the previous n.)
various skins (hippopotamus, furry, penguin, yak, yeti.  Other than meatsmithing and selling them to the bounty hunter, I don't know if I can do anything with them)
icy katana hilt (I've seen assembled icy hot katanas, or whatever they're called.  But I have not encountered a flaming katana blade, other than in the mall, and I'm loathe to just buy one, for fear of missing important content.)
Warm Subject gift certificate (I hear rumor of a "torso awareness" skill.  I think I need a torso before I can buy clothing for it.)
foolscap fool's cap, leather mask, goat beard, mullet wig, big red clown nose (obviously, I wear them, but they all seems awfully low-power given *when* in the game I found them, which makes me suspicious.)

Enormous belt buckle, fat stacks of cash, and flaming crutch have no use that anybody knows of. Some people collect them, just to be perverse.

Your supposition on the heavy D is correct. And, not only CAN you do that, but you'll HAVE to, eventually.

Meatsmithing and selling the hides to the bounty hunter is, yes, what you can do with the skins.

Have you encountered any place where you would expect to find things on fire, to find a flaming katana blade?

Torso Awareness won't let you buy clothing from Warm Subject. The fact is, as an Adventurer of Loathing, you've just plain got too much taste to shop at Warm Subject.

Nope, all those items are, in fact, just plain low-powered for where you found them. You can give them to lower-level friends if you want. . .

hey

What about your spooky sapling? I was all excited to hear more about the spooky sapling...

And is Cedar Bancroft 10-pounds while wearing the lead necklace or is that naked.

My Disco Bandit ascended yesterday. You're not far behind -- the Council is about to send you after the Naughty Sorceress, which is a very intricate and somewhat maddening quest. I swear I'll never sell anything again now. :)

Totally loving your familiar's names!

And, for a little haiku:

Lowercase "n" came
Somewhere over the rainbow
No, wait, not "rainbow"....

The lifeless meat doll?
If you have your hippy stone
It is of no use
