I'm a level 7 Disco Bandit, which makes me a Move Buster. I need 13 more Moxie to get to level 8, so I expect it'll be awhile.
Nicolas Ravindran, the 16-pound Mosquito, has 270 kills. However I just begun adventuring with Casper Trofflesby, my familiar Barrrnacle.
With a little haiku from
I have no new accomplishments. This is because I spent most of my adventures yesterday in the tavern. Because I forgot that, ages ago, I acquired a pair of beer lenses from the tavern, which I suspect means I already have the thing I thought I might need.
Quests:
- I finally noticed the door to the 8-bit realm. The crackpot mystic gave me a continuum transfunctioner that, when equipped, will let me enter. It's an accessory. The crackpot mystic will assemble things from Pixels, which I have begun to collect.
- I have the Spooky Temple map. There is a patch of loose soil at the base of the too-tall steps.
- I have a Spooky Sapling from the Spooky Forest. It wants to grow.
- One of my clan-members -- the one who thanked me in French -- has given me hints on where to adventure in order to find the parts to build myself a bartender-in-a-box so I don't have to spend adventures to mix drinks. "Where better to look for a bartender's parts than the parts where bartenderders are found (once there are no more rats)? The rest of the pieces needed can be found in places on the plains *other* than where (I assume) you found your empty box, and one of the places you need to spend your time and adventures is even spelled correctly." I do have a nothing-in-the-box, so I've begun the process, at least.
- I have acquired the Hey Deze map, but I don't have anything that makes music. (I did pick up some tambourine bells recently...I think from a hippie I beat up. Perhaps I can construct something.)
My cocktail-making and cocktail-drinking habits seem to be reasonably balancing out, at least right now when I'm wasting so much inebreity on hanging out where the bartender is. It's also pretty expensive.

on 2006-01-30 07:51 pm (UTC)Do you have a chef-in-the-box? If so, you shouldn't have TOO much trouble figuring out the bartender-in-the-box.
