sev...I'm submitting work to the Seattle Erotic Art Festival this year. Wasn't gonna. Really wasn't. Okay, I was 80% sure. There's a newborn baby in my house, fercryinoutloud...I'm forgiven for not having time and energy for as much art as usual. I'm only having about half as much sex as usual. And a girl's got her priorities, y'know?
But I did a shoot for somebody, and while it really wasn't anywhere near as explicit as I prefer my erotic work to be, the results were *darn* pretty. Given my track record -- that the stuff of mine that gets into SEAF is the less-pretty, more-raunchy stuff -- my hopes aren't high, but hell, if I'm doing this shoot anyway, I might as well take the extra time to submit a few frames to SEAF. And y'all just can wait, 'cuz I'm not finished and I'm not showing them 'round until my model does *her* thing with the pictures, first.
And as for the the not-one-but *two* projects I had in mind to do for SEAF this year? Well, I've only barely started them, and now I get to spend as much time on them as I'd like. Perhaps I'll have them ready for next year. The one requires me to coordinate five people, and the other requires me to be more comfortable in a medium I don't normally work in...so I'm glad for the extra time.
