...I don't usually find April Fool's jokes funny. My standards for "funny" rather than just "annoying" are pretty damn high.

Yeah, a couple of years ago a partner told me he'd gotten injured while on a business trip -- cut on his hand or something -- and I felt very foolish for expressing concern and then finding out it was a joke.
