Actually, since I didn't *get* any valentines last year -- 'cept for the one from Ethan's parents -- I'm not doing the homemade valentine/gift thing again this year.

My skin hates this season. The whole forced-air-heating thing makes me all dry and flaky, and then my extra-irritated skin breaks out like crazy. So I get these fields of huge owie pimples surrounded by dry dry peeling ick.

my art-fugue is dangerous to my health. I need to figure out how to carve out five hours from my day ... and then accept that I'm not going to do *anything* while I have art supplies in my hands. Going five hours without noticing desire for food or water is problematic, though.

A humidifier can really help skin (and hair and sinuses) in the winter. Or, if you have a woodstove, just set an metal kettle on and keep it full.

A really big fishtank with no lid works too. But, that works year round. ;)
