this one's especially easy.
- my mesh bag with the recycled-plastic handle, which means I can avoid piling up yet more plastic bags when I shop and feel good about conserving resources *and* carry the heavy results of a shopping trip without cutting lines of ow across my palm.
- my neighborhood, in which I can do most of my critical shopping and a lot of my less-critical shopping in a cozy two-block commercial area chock full of small businesses, which is located three blocks from my house
- new Le Tigre album! Okay, it came out at the end of October, but I was distracted. I'd been walking past Sonic Boom and noticing the big posters for a week or two, and dropped in and picked it up on my way home from other-shopping today.
- my tribe, who I can trust to come socialize at my house this december -- I've discovered that I not only don't like travelling this month, but I kind of don't want to *leave my house*. I've been a december-hibernator ever since high school; end of October kicked off Serious Holiday Fundraising for my girl scout troop, so by the time mid-December or so rolled around, I was so worn out from events designed to feed the hungry and raise money for disaster releif and so on and so forth that I just wanted to curl up and sleep for three weeks.
- my James Peterson cookbooks, of which I now have two. (Vegetables and Sauces)
