I'm glad that amai_unmei mentioned to goodwench that I have a livejournal, so now I can read her posts which takes some of the sting out of the "but they're thousands of miles away!" problem.
I'm very thankful my cold has gone away sufficiently that drinking coffee is fun again!
I'm incredibly grateful that there was enough granola left to take the edge off my hunger last night before I went to bed. (but why it took three bowls to get me not starving anymore, I dunno. Must be feeling better, I guess.)
I'm *delighted* that my sweetie and I came up with a work-schedule solution that lets him have his very-productive work-late nights without me feeling lonely because he's working late.
Seeing friends I haven't seen in a week gives me the opportunity to feel "I'm glad I'm home!" all over again!
