(interface to the alexa data, which is how they know I first registered byz.org in 1996; since I changed registrars several years ago, that data has been less accessible. So, not so weird, upon second glance.)

Alexa data is quite a laugh at times. My domain (spuddy.org) lists an address that is 3 years out of date, a fax number that is 5 years out of date, and an email address of one of my ex-users!

In my case, I'm the one who let the registration data fall out of date. My email address is correct; that's really all I worry about keeping accurate.

I am impressed, however, that they got the initial registration date right; nobody else seems to have that. (and if you'd asked me when it was I first registered byz.org, I'd have had to sit there and count on my fingers to figure it out.)
