been making long slow progress on teaching myself lace knitting.

"Feather and Fan" in various size repeats, with blue Mystery Yarn.



Dunno what this yarn is -- I've got a bunch, but it's unlabelled. Look at the pretty shiny dark blue & white coiled around the baby blue center -- maybe this is a silk/wool blend, or something?


I really should swatch this & make sure it doesn't shrink.

Oooh, *pretty*! I know a crochet pattern that comes out very similar, it's one of my favourites.

I haven't forgotten that you want to see a picture of my random baby blanket, but I haven't got access to a digicam till my folks get back from France this week.
