I really, really shouldn't read xbox magazine first thing in the morning. I've said this before, really. It's still true.

Dear xbox mag:

Please pass on my thanks to whoever it was on your team who wisely pointed out that the single token female -- mentioned last in the list, of course -- in your holiday gift guide was insufficient. I'm pleased that the decision was made to include a second "girl gamer" in your list of gamer stereotypes.

However, next time: please try to make this decision early enough that the art that accompanies the article doesn't make it very obvious that that particular gamer was originally distinctly male.
