the "ask me anything" meme
Jul. 1st, 2004 10:56 amI've been seeing this "ask me anything" meme in people's journals for awhile. It sounds like fun. So, ask me anything and I'll probably post an answer eventually. C'mon, you know you wanna. Nobody but me will see what you asked...

Jul. 1st, 2004 11:32 amIn answer to
firecat's question:
Technically, me. In a restaurant some six years ago. However, it wasn't until last year that he managed to kick us both into *doing* something about it instead of just saying "yes, we'll get around to it" every time the subject came up.

Jul. 1st, 2004 11:49 amhm, lemme check...
yep. The two cartoony ones are *supposed* to be me, at least, though they both portray my face as significantly more heart-shaped than it is. The rest of them are in fact photographs of me, though they span about ten years.
the black-and-white default one was taken by my sweetie while we were still in the throes of NRE, which means it was in '96 or '97. The closeup was taken around '99. The outside-with-the-pinwheel shot was, um, '94ish or so; I was twenty and weighed two-thirds my current weight, and I keep that picture around to remind me to eat. The fancydress shot that shows a bit of cleavage was new year's eve 2000. The other three are pretty recent. The one with all that hair in the front of my face was a self-portrait, the boots were from a picture my mom took the very first day I wore those boots, and the needles were, um, well. Every time I look at that picture I get a frission of "That *can't* be me; why would I do something like that?" But I did, and that's proof. :)
With a bit of incentive from
goddesslena, I've finally managed to get the oft-promised erotica section unveiled on my portfolio website. yay! go me!
(no, of course it's not work-safe, unless you work someplace where looking at pictures of naked bodies is appropriate. I'm still considering renaming that section "smut".)
