Finished Object

Second Finished Object ever. Only been knitting for a handful of months. The first finished object is a bikini top which is still buried in burning man stuff, somewhere.

The second one is a small blanket:





about three feet square.

Yes, it is slightly trapezoidal as it appears in the second picture. My early work was pretty loose. And I bound off tighter than I'd meant to.

Next project is a )%@%#! scarf that won't take me three months...

Yay, go you! I've just started to learn knitting over the last couple of weeks; I've done a scarf in garter stitch, and now I'm doing one in stocking stitch.

just about everything I knit ends up crooked/uneven... I once heard an eskimo story about how you have to leave something imperfect in everything you make... because it lets your soul out. if it's perfect, you get stuck.
