gloriajn ran across this in girlgeeks; it was scanned by the folks who do Design Observer. It's an illustration by Thomans Fuchs which accompanied and article by Oliver Sacks on the New York Times Op-Ed page about the discovery of new elements. (whew, what a sentence. preposition, anyone?)



The Design Observer article is a call for entries for a collection of interesting-in-some-way periodic tables. There's all *sorts* of neat images people have pointed to, there.

Isn't that cool? I just wish I were creative enough to submit an entry of a different periodic table. But then, it could still happen.

I'm sorry, but greatly overburdening sentences with prepositions and/or needless subjunctive clauses is my shtick. If you continue, I'm going to have to ask for a royalty fee.
