How often does one have to post in one's own journal in order to be considered "active"? Because while I realize I haven't posted a public entry in three months, but I don't consider this account "inactive."

Feh. I have a preschooler, and I've spent a lot of the past two months ill. Apparently that means I'm too busy to join the LJ community that just rejected me for my journal being "too new/inactive." Their loss, I guess?

I'm sorry to hear you've been ill -- are you feeling better?

I can't speak to the active/inactive question; I don't start thinking of a journal as inactive until there've been no posts for about a year.

my daughter started in a cooperative preschool and I've managed to catch something every single time I've worked in the classroom. So I'm currently sick (again) but I'm optimistic that eventually I will stop catching every little thing that comes around. :)

What about someone who reads constantly and comments but doesn't post much?
