mail sort-of broken. Sort-of, in that a few messages, here and there, are getting through. But mostly, just not. For the first time in ages -- or maybe ever -- I've posted to the postfix-users mailing list looking for help fixing my mailserver.

'cuz, really, postfix isn't the kind of program that generally leaves me totally unable to troubleshoot. For which I am grateful; I'm *really impatient* with the asking-for-help part of this process, and much prefer when I can muddle through on my own. (now I'm stuck wearing out the "check for new mail" button on the webmail interface of my alternate email account. I'm kinda ticked at myself for not getting the initial mail written up more quickly; during the hour and a half I spent describing my problem, people could have been *responding* with suggestions instead!)

that was an exceptionally well written request for help, and I like that you got a job offer in the process. ;-)

thank you! I'm very impatient with the process of trying to draw information out of somebody looking for computer help, so I tend to be thorough when I'm the one doing the asking.

I believe that the job-listing is in the guy's .signature, though, and was not directed towards me personally. :)
