I'm sure it means something important and it's true that in the waning afternoon sunlight your sculpture of a rusted railroad spike hanging from a tree dangling at eye-level just by the sidewalk was attractive and thought-provoking.
But, last night, shielded as it is by the tree from the glare of the streetlights it was completely invisible. Walking into it hurt, and the only reason I don't have a black eye is that I've got a deep, nasty scratch in the right lens of my glasses.
Guess I will in fact be visiting the optometrist before burning man this year.
